The Quest of Questions

Category:Uncategorized

Questions are powerful.
Especially the ones
That don’t yet have an answer.
They can inspire us
To leave our comfort zone
And launch us on a quest,
A journey,
One with many obstacles
But also many rewards.
They can motivate us
To come together
In a shared quest.
They cultivate humility
And curiosity,
Giving us the strength
To overcome our fear
And venture out to the edge
Together
Where new insights await
Those who are bold enough
To explore.
We can achieve so much more
Of our potential
And accelerate our progress
If we embrace the questions.
Because, behind every question,
There are many more questions
Waiting to be seen.
The quest is never-ending.

Max De Pree once told Peter Drucker, “I have plenty of MBAs, what I need are more poets.” He wanted people who ask “curiosity” questions and search the answers with passion and systems intelligence. I hope you continue the poetry John.

Dear John,
How wonderful!
Questions are how we learn
Questions are adult toys – they can bring us joy
Questions can illuminate parts of us we did not know
Questions can connect us to others
Questions are how we explore and discover
YES, please continue with your poetry
Happy Holidays and thank you
